Lorna Schultz Nicholson

Lorna has written over 15 books that deal with a variety of youth-related topics.
Her main topic is sports with an emphasis on hockey for both genders. 
Her novels teach life lesson through the eyes of a player.

Grande Prairie and Area Homeschool Fieldtrip Group

This group provides homeschool activities, fieldtrips and teaching times. 

It is open to all homeschoolers from all districts
and is free to join.

Seams Like Sexsmith Quilt Guild 

The "Seams like Sexsmith" Quilt Guild meets on the second Thursday at each month.  Meetings take place in Sexsmith, usually in a member's home.  You may contact Sheryl at the library 780-568-4333 for the address in any particular month.

Currently the Guild is working on community quilts to have on hand in the event of personal disasters in the area.  There are also optional projects and challenges that members may choose to undertake if they wish.
